Before reserving a hotel in any of destinations we intend to travel to, I always do my homework comparing prices and quality of the hotels. Our choice for Havana was Hotel Telegrafo. And we didn't regret it.

Любой отправляющийся на Кубу должен четко представлять, что кулинарных изысков ожидать не стоит. Но и не стоит доверяться многочисленным отзывам в интернете, согласно которым люди прямо таки голодали на Кубе, такая там отвратная еда. 

For us food is always an important component of our holiday. We love to try different things, including street food, which many neglect.

Anyone going to Cuba must be clear about what to expect here, or better - what not to expect. You will not find any delicacies in Cuba, it's a desert for gourmands. But also do not trust those numerous reviews you find in Internet, saying that they have been starving during the whole stay in Cuba because the food here was terrible.

Going to Cuba, I was first of all interested in finding out whether the Cubans themselves think that they are living on the "Island of Freedom". What do they feel about their regime now, that the borders have been opened to tourists? Do they consider Russians as "comrades"?

Food: Krua Thai Restaurant, Tallinn on Valentine's Day

Yesterday, on Valentine's Day, my husband invited me for a dinner to Thai Restaurant - Krua. The restaurant is situated in the heart of Tallinn on Aia 4/ Vana Viru 13. We have never been to this restaurant before, so I decided I will share my impression on this place and its food.

We booked late and were surprised that we actually got a table for five that easy (our friends decided to join us). We phoned many other restaurants and all were booked well in advance. So I thought to myself - why would that be.... Read about our experience under the cut.

Вчера в День Св.Валентина мой муж пригласил меня на ужин в тайский ресторан - Krua. Ресторан находится в центре Таллинна, по адресу Aia 4/ Vana Viru 13. Мы никогда здесь до этого не были, поэтому я решила поделиться своими впечатлениями об этом месте и его кухне.

Забронировали мы очень поздно, в тот же день, и были очень удивлены, что нам нашелся столик на пятерых (наши друзья решили к нам присоединиться). Мы обзвонили много ресторанов, но все были зарезервированы задолго до этого дня. Я задумалась - почему, интересно... Под катом читайте наши впечатления.
